REVIEWS:
Two Oklahoma youngsters, Jaime and Nicole, expect to spend their summer avoiding boredom until they discover a curious old map with amazing properties. The eponymous artifact sends them tumbling into a world unlike anything they have ever experienced. Plot-wise, THE SECRET OF WELLINGTON’S MAP clicks along at a brisk pace offering a mix of sci-fi and fantasy–populated with an interesting collection of bizarre characters. It’s a tale that makes a very strong case for being open to any challenge and the rewards that come with embracing life’s adventures. Someone should alert Disney because WELLINGTON”S MAP has all the earmarks of great family film.
The book is well produced and augmented with humorously stylized illustrations by Adam Penrod. I don’t want to limit anyone discovering the pleasures of Ms. Penrod’s work, but I would recommend it for readers beginning around ten years of age and upwards. (Amazon Review, James D. Long, Springdale, AR, USA)

Penrod crafts an interesting story that takes two tween-age girls on an adventure that’s a fun read for young and old. I highly recommend this ‘can’t put down’ read. (Barnes and Noble Review)
